Athleta Print Design

Spring Collection 2015

This print was designed while doing freelance work for Laundry Studio in Portland, OR. It was produced by Athleta and used in a sports bra, legging, and jacket. The leggings and bra were used on the cover of the February 2015 collection cover.

For this project I was given a spring florals brief. I chose to work with watercolors and create a floral illustration. I then experimented with different ways of manipulating this illustration to make it work for a repeat design for athletic apparel. This was the design that was chosen.
