Discarded Dandelion Heads / sewn together with wire and embroidery thread
In 2012 I participated in an exchange program in Loughborough, England. I created a body of work that focused on the value of plants and how I could change that value though repetitious labor.
My inspiration came from an exhibition of artists who were dealing with the concept and process of lace. After seeing this exhibition I started to think about how time determines the value we give objects.
