How This Art Was Made
Lindsey Fox hiked 2650 miles from Mexico to Canada in 2016 with a sketchbook and watercolors in tow. She made each sketchbook specifically to fit in the boxes she sent with food, and to fit in her backpack along with everything else needed for this venture.
 
These are the pieces that emerged from the views, vistas, and mountaintops along the way. These moments were captured en plein air and represent some of the most magical moments of the hike.
